Taylor received her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2018. Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Taylor began working with children and adolescents in 2015 as a Therapeutic Support Staff. Through Taylor’s master’s level field experience and practicum, she had the opportunity to provide individual outpatient and group counseling to college students at IUP and Juniata College from 2016-2018. In 2019, Taylor began her work at Evolution Counseling Services, LLC. conducting in-home counseling to children and families while overseeing the ACT 360 program in both Blair and Huntingdon counties. Taylor has a passion for helping people improve their sense of self-efficacy through cultivating trust in the therapeutic relationship and harnessing individual strengths. Taylor believes that all people have the power to make small steps toward change, no matter how difficult things may seem. One of Taylor’s favorite quotes is, “Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light” (Brene Brown). In her down time, Taylor enjoys going to concerts, hiking, coffee, meditation, thrift shopping, and watching The Office re-runs.
