Job Description

Evolution Counseling Services, LLC is looking for an engaging, energetic, dedicated person with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, HDFS or other related fields of study to join our team in this position. The float counselor will have the opportunity to work in different programs depending on the need. The float counselors will work in-home with children and families in Blair County experiencing issues such as crisis, mental health, truancy, behavioral issues, family conflict, and employment/career support. The position has a starting salary of $41,000 - $45,000 (depending on degree & experience) and a tax-free mileage stipend of $3,000 a year. After the 90-day probation period, employees receive 2 weeks of paid vacation and medical, dental and vision benefits. After a year, employees are eligible for the simple IRA that Evolution matches at 3%. Additionally, as a float counselor, the employee will receive on-call compensation that is provided when carrying the on-call phones and attending crisis calls during employee rotation.

Job Description

Evolution Counseling Services, LLC is looking for an engaging, energetic leader who is dedicated and empathetic with a strong desire to work with youth and families. This is a coordinator role requiring a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, HDFS or other related fields of study. The FGDM coordinator will have the opportunity to work with different families and providers across Blair County to help address any imbalances between child-serving systems and the youth/families that are within these systems. The role of a FGDM is to bring family members, invited family and friends, community members and mental health/ welfare agencies to the table to energize hope, guide change and foster healing.

The FGDM coordinator will work in-home with children and families in Blair County experiencing a variety of imbalances such as crisis, mental health, behavioral issues, kinship concerns, etc. The position has a starting salary of $41,000 - $45,000 (depending on degree & experience) and a tax-free mileage stipend of $3,000 a year. After the 90-day probation period, employees receive 2 weeks of paid vacation and medical, dental and vision benefits. After a year, employees are eligible for the Simple IRA that Evolution matches at 3%.

Additionally, as a FDGM coordinator, it is expected to reach out to referrals placed by child welfare/ mental health agencies and provide education to the families about FGDM. Identifying, locating, supporting family members and support systems are a pivotal part of the job and eventually hosting a safe space for a meeting where guiding change and energizing hope should occur.
