Joleyna is a graduate from Juniata College, holding a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and double minors in Race, Ethnicity, and Identity Studies, as well as Women and Gender Studies. She’s passionate about continuing her journey in the mental health field and plans to earn her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. While at Juniata, Joleyna took her first steps into the mental health world by working as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor, supporting adults and gaining meaningful hands-on experience. Her heart has always been set on helping others. Born and raised in Blair County, Joleyna is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return home and be a source of support for the next generation in her community. Outside of work, Joleyna is a lover of all things creative. She enjoys making and viewing art, catching live music, and playing with fashion. Joleyna can either be found getting coffee, thrifting, or spending time with her kitty, Juniper(Juni)!
