Michelle Langenbacher - BS HDFS

ACT 360 Counselor
Evolution Counseling Services, LLC.

Michelle has been a resident of Blair County her entire life. Born and raised in Altoona, she continues to reside there with her three children and her fiancée. Michelle graduated with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies in 2002 from Penn State. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, Michelle spent many years working with Blair County Children, Youth, and Families as an assessment caseworker and then as a therapeutic foster care case manager with various agencies, while raising her family. For the last ten years, Michelle has spent time serving individuals with intellectual disabilities and dual diagnoses. Michelle has 20 years of experience working with children, adults, and families and helping them through life’s challenges.

In August 2024, Michelle returned to school to obtain her MSW and hopes to further her experience working with children and families. She finds much fulfillment in being able to assist and mentor at-risk youth and helping families work to become a healthier unit.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, particularly football and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball, and enjoying the outdoors. Michelle also is an animal lover and enjoys spending time with her 3 dogs and multiple cats.
